Dog Friendly Accomodation

Dog-Friendly Boutique Hotel in Tata

Dear Pet Owners,

Malom és Kacsa Boutique Hotel is pet-friendly. Your four-legged family members are welcome guests both in our restaurant and in our designated rooms. To ensure that this remains possible in the future, we kindly ask you to follow the house rules. Pets must be kept on a leash throughout the entire premises of Malom és Kacsa Boutique Hotel (except inside your room). Please note that the Sauna World and Fitness Area are not pet-friendly zones, and pets are not permitted in these areas.

Dogs can only be accommodated in the designated Standard Panorama Rooms, of which we have a total of five available. Upon arrival, guests travelling with their dogs will find a special pet welcome package, including a dog bed, food and water bowls, a towel, waste bags, and a small surprise.

Rooms are cleaned only when the pet is not present. We kindly ask for your cooperation and understanding regarding housekeeping arrangements.

In the event of an “accident,” we kindly ask that it be cleaned up immediately.

Dog Etiquette:

As a dog-friendly hotel, we naturally consider our four-legged visitors to be part of the family. At the same time, we also want to be mindful of guests who do not own dogs and may feel uncomfortable with close interactions or certain canine behaviors. To ensure that everyone enjoys a pleasant and relaxing stay, we kindly ask you to read and follow the guidelines below. This will help make every guest’s time at Malom és Kacsa enjoyable and undisturbed.

  • Only vaccinated, house-trained, well-behaved, and well-groomed dogs may be brought to Malom és Kacsa.
  • As a responsible pet owner, the guest bears full financial, legal, and personal responsibility for any damage or injury caused by their pet to the hotel’s furnishings, building, plants, employees, guests, or other animals staying on the premises.
  • We kindly ask that dogs are kept on a leash at all times in the hotel’s public areas outside the guest room.
  • Please keep your dog on a leash at all times in the hotel parking area and on the paths leading to the entrances.
  • Please be considerate of other guests. If necessary, call your pet to order and ensure it remains well behaved.
  • Please do not allow your dog to approach another dog that is eating or drinking. It is impossible to know how the other dog may react or whether it displays protective behavior around food or water.
  • Please do not leave your dog alone in the room for extended periods if separation anxiety may cause barking, scratching at the door, or other disruptive behavior. Before traveling together, make sure your dog can comfortably stay alone in an unfamiliar environment. If your dog does not disturb other guests by barking, it may remain in the room in a crate while you visit areas where dogs are not permitted.
  • Please inform our hotel staff if your dog is resting alone in the room, so that our colleagues can plan and carry out the daily housekeeping accordingly.
  • If your dog likes to rest on the bed, we kindly ask you to place the towel provided underneath your pet.
  • Dogs may not be bathed in the hotel’s showers or bathtubs. For muddy paws, we provide a designated area and facilities in the hotel parking area for rinsing and cleaning.
  • When walking your dog, please carry the waste bags provided in your room and make sure to use them. We kindly ask that all waste bags are disposed of in the designated bins.
